Xbox Live is no more.

As of April 15, 2010 Microsoft will no longer offer online services for original Xbox users. You won't be able to play online with your original Xbox or original Xbox games, even if they port to the 360. You'd best buy Halo 2 for PC if you want to play it online.
You don't see this crap on PSN. Playstation has always and will always be my first choice. I have played both and with Microsoft your basically just paying for the same quality of service.
Notice: The difference between Halo 2 and Halo 3 is like 1.6 and Source in my opinion. So assuming that I cared about Xbox products I'd still want to be able to play Halo 2 online.
On a lighter note, Microsoft is saying (Unofficially) that they will be redirecting a lot of their interest into new updates for XBL. So those of you who have original Xbox's get ready for change.

The only positive I can think of was Halo 2's matchmaking system. It was revolutionary at the time. Console gaming is largely based on that system, even today. PC gaming on the other hand can't wait to see the back of it. MW2 springs instantly to mind.
When I first glanced at the title, I thought you meant Live was done for the Xbox in general, not just original. I laughed, now I'm disappointed.
