After almost 2 weeks of minimal matches, everything has started up once again and the action is kicking up across the world! ESEA has just begun it's 5th season releasing the schedules last Friday and the first rounds of the ESL Major Series 5 for Team Fortress 2 have begun today. We have already started peppering our schedule with way more activity so here's a brief rundown of the events.

First up is today with two matches across two games and two continents. Live at 3:00PM EST / 21:00 CET is the EMS5 TF2 match between Power Gaming and I Don't Know to be played as best of 3 on the maps cp_gravelpit, cp_granary with cp_badlands to be the tiebreaker. Following that later tonight we have the delayed CEVO-P CSS match at 10:00PM EST between x3o and Blight to be played on de_scorch (ugh...).

With the ESEA season started we've scheduled two matches this week already to start the excitement. First up this Tuesday is the CS1.6 match between the ever so famous Evil Geniuses against Loaded to be played at 10:00PM EST on de_inferno. The day after on Wednesday we have our second ESEA match of the week with our first North American TF2 match in quite some time between Immortal 7 and Evil Geniuses at 11:30PM EST to be played on our first ever casted King of the Hill match, koth_viaduct. This is sure to be an interesting match to cast on this recently introduced game mode.
